8. Califon Quik House by Industrial Zombie
Industrial Zombie designs and manufactures buildings made of shipping containers for homes and businesses. The name zombie came from the definition of the word: „A corpse given life by a supernatural force”. As the firm says, such as supernatural forces that awaken new life in the dead, they use discarded industrial materials and re-imagining them for a higher purpose, basically giving them life. They make unusual structures and also focus on reducing material waste, still achieving the highest design aesthetic. This container home in the picture was made from recycled shipping containers and features two separate structures joined together by an external walkway.
