James C. Walton was ranked the tenth richest man in the world in 2012 (with an estimated net worth of $28.1 billion.) He is the helm of the American multinational retail corporation Walmart and son of founder Sam Walton, who set up the company in Arkansas in 1962. With the corporate headquarters lying in Arkansas, James has retained the family home, where he still lives with his wife, Lynne McNabb Walton. The residence still holds the traditional hallmarks of the 60s style, of when it was built and features geometric cut-outs, stacked stone, low-slung furniture and built-ins. The home is eminently comfortable but nothing which your average upper middle class Joe wouldn’t be able to afford. Interestingly it features plenty of space for family gatherings and social entertaining.
